Zrda Partners

Zrda’s approach is to work hand-in-hand with its partner organizations – Charity Humanitarian Center Abkhazeti (CHCA), Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA), Regional Development Association (RDA), and Rural Development for Future Georgia (RDFG) - to strengthen the skills, productivity, and networks of local ac­tors, from vulnerable households to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MS­MEs) so they can contribute to broad-based economic growth and strengthened resilience in target communities.

 

 Charity Humanitarian Centre "Abkhazeti" (CHCA)

Charity Humanitarian Centre "Abkhazeti" (CHCA), established in 1995, is a Georgian, non-Governmental, non-profit organization that aims to improve the livelihoods of conflict-affected and other socially vulnerable persons and enhance their social and economic integration.

Georgian Farmers Association (GFA)  

Georgian Farmers Association (GFA)  is positioned as an umbrella organization, which affiliates more than 600 members from which, some are major sub-sector civil society actors. GFA can play a major role in Public Private Partnership as it advocates on farmers and private sector needs. Through the help desk and call center GFA brings together the difficulties of the private sectors and negotiates on the issues with government and other stakeholders. The members and stakeholders use GFA’s diversity of services, including market researches, monthly reports, private sector needs assessment, capacity audit and others.

Regional Development Association (RDA)

Regional Development Association (RDA) is a non-profit organization registered in Georgia, with the mission to impact lives by encouraging people to engage in changes for the better. Founded in 2010,  it has been operating mainly in Samtskhe-Javakheti region with head office in Tbilisi. RDA’s geographical coverage expanded to West Georgia in 2014, after gaining an opportunity to co-implement ENPARD program as part of the consortia with CARE International in the Caucasus and International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET). Within ENPARD, RDA is in charge of field operations for development of sustainable cooperatives  in seven districts of Samegrelo, Guria and Kvemo Svaneti. It is also responsible for organizational capacity building of beneficiary umbrella organization – Georgian Farmers Association (GFA).

Rural Development for Future Georgia (RDFG)

Association Regional/Rural Development for Future Georgia (RDFG) is a development and relief non-profit organization established in 2010 with the purpose to assist vulnerable communities in social and economic development and strengthen their self-resilience, provide technical assistance to local governments in development and adaptation of advanced management systems and methodologies. RDFG works on cross-cutting issues such as human rights, environmental protection, gender equality, peace building and disaster risk reduction. The organization works with different vulnerable societal groups to ensure equal access to different services and opportunities and promote inclusion and responsiveness to the needs of underprivileged groups in the country.
