U.S. Ambassador Kelly C. Degnan visited the kindergarten in Kveshi village located near the Administrative Boundary Line. This is one more USAID/Zrda-supported and OSCE-funded infrastructure initiative implemented in Shida Kartli region.
Within the framework of the joint initiative USAID/Zrda developed the full project design package for Kveshi Kindergarten, while the Kindergartens Agency under the Gori Municipality implemented the full scope of infrastructure rehabilitation works. Newly rehabilitated and well-equipped building is already in a full operational regime and 75 local children can attend the Kindergarten from now on.
This is one more example of how U.S. Government and USAID assistance makes a tangible impact in Georgia’s vulnerable communities.
